    Special: Brendan Evans Guitar
    10:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Brendan Evans is a classical guitar player living in Rockport, Massachusetts, and has just released his debut album entitled Tiento. This performance is from the album release celebration recorded 1-18-2026 in Universalist Unitarian Church in Rockport, MA, and features both songs from the album, other selections (perhaps for the next album) as well guitar history and thoughts on being a musician from the artist. It is a magical performance and shows Brendan’s talent and thoughtfulness. The live concert is introduced by the OFFICAL VIDEO for the Album Release, Mon Pere. A tiento is, at its core, an exploration — a musical act of seeking that can take many forms. First used as a title in the fifteenth century, the term later came to describe one of the more solemn and introspective styles of flamenco song. This spirit of searching finds a powerful modern expression in Maurice Ohana’s Tiento, the title work of the album, a striking composition that draws on elements of ancient music while speaking in a contemporary voice. For Evans, Tiento represents both tradition and personal journey — an effort, a temptation, a feeling. The title reflects his deep connection to the classical guitar’s lineage while asserting a uniquely personal musical identity. The album highlights Evans’s refined tone, elegant phrasing, and expressive clarity, marking a thoughtful and confident entrance into the recorded classical guitar repertoire. This concert and the Official Music Video was filmed and edited by Ken Kinna and Joan Boivin, BRollFilms.com. Tiento, Brendan's debut classical album, is now available on Vinyl at Brendan-Evans.com and on all streaming platforms (https://linktr.ee/Brendan_Evans). Album produced by John Finbury at Green Flash Music .
