Each program showcases a particular musician or musical group. Programs cover many different genres: jazz, classical, blues, folk, world, young artists. While most programs are taped in the CCX Create TV studio, we also film some on location. The Producers' goal is to make great music available to a larger audience than many musicians would normally reach. American diplomat Martin Viking (Jon Hall) goes to India, which is on the verge of civil war. He reunites with Kevin O'Hara (Douglas Kennedy), an old war buddy now disguised as a Sikh. Martin is shocked when he learns Kevin is a part of the terrorist group inciting the war. Kevin tells Martin he plans to assassinate an Indian royal, but he is stabbed shortly after his confession. Martin, convinced he will be accused of the murder, flees the scene on a train to try and stop the plot.

After his brother dies in a car crash, Arthur Waldo (Terry Camilleri) is adopted by the mayor (John Meillon) of Paris, a small Australian town with a steep downhill road. The residents earn a living by causing accidents, then stripping the cars for parts to sell and using the few survivors as medical test subjects. Unable to escape, Arthur becomes a reluctant resident. Meanwhile, violent teens threaten to destroy the community with their menacing driving, which endangers citizens and property.

After his hat flies out the window of a speeding train, passenger and music-hall performer Tommy Gander (Arthur Askey) yanks the emergency brake, causing the train to stop. All the passengers are stuck in rural Cornwall, England that night, unable to get a connecting train for hours. The stationmaster, Saul Hodgkin (Herbert Lomas), wants them gone for mysterious reasons, so he tells them a scary story about a ghost train that passes through every night, hoping that will do the trick.
