    Native Plant Month

Native plant promotion has long been active in Northeast Ohio thanks in large part to the efforts of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as well as local efforts lead by former Twinsburg Naturalist Stanley Stine and the Twinsburg garden Club. Native plants play a critical role in our ecosystem. They help clean our drinking water, remove contaminants from the air we breath and of course, feed pollinating insects necessary for producing much of our food.
